Micro-electronic Clean Room Labels
Micro electronic uses like wafer fabrication, integrated circuits, disk drives and other storage media manufacturing requires the products to be manufactured in clean room environments to ensure minimal contamination for maximum reliability and performance.
The label materials for use in these clean room environments must comply to stringent quality guidelines to ensure that the label does not contaminate and cause degradation to these sensitive devices.
As a result, the label materials used must contain low ionic contaminants; the pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) used has to be low out gassing and the release liner has to be free of silicone extractables. On top of these requirements, the PSA label must be able to dispense using automated labeling equipments.
Levera is among the very few companies in Asia with the expertise to develop PSA label constructions that fulfills the clean room specifications from Class 100 to Class 1.
